The first prize - The board is a unique piece. Painted and designed thinking of the magic of Filicudi. A thin golden line delineates the outline of the island.
The checkers recall specific elements: the red ones represent the color of starfish that you find on the seabed swimming, and the blue ones are made thinking of the MACINE - the millstones - that were made by the local artisans and loaded onto the sailing ships that would take them to other destinations. All over the island there are traces of millstones and each district had one because once there were many mills.
